It is with a heavy heart that we announce the dissolution of theNorth America Boerboel Breeders Association, Inc (also known as NABBA), however; we are grateful for the many years of service the association has brought to the breed.
The amount of time and dedication that it took to collect registry data by loyal and dedicated club members over the past thirteen years did not go unnoticed. To return this gratitude, membership dues for those who did not request service in 2024 will be refunded in full. For all others, we are encouraging and excited to welcome you into a new organization: North American Boerboel Breeders Registry (NABBR).
NABBR has been entrusted with years of NABBA records and will be organized with top of the line programs including innovative things to come.
NABBR will welcome you with open arms, dedication to our breed and a promise to treat others with kindness & respect.
At this time, NABBA would like to wish the best of luck to everyone in their endeavors with reaching their goals laid out in front of them and their dogs.
NABBR is here to help make the transition from NABBA as easy as possible.

So, a big study showed that patients using Ozempic lost about 33 pounds over 68 weeks. That's not just about controlling blood sugar—it's also great for helping with weight. Look, Ozempic’s popularity has soared because it does a lot more than you'd expect, but people naturally wonder about the risks, too.
Discover the Benefits of Ozempic
Basically, Ozempic is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. You usually get it prescribed for type 2 diabetes. It works by raising insulin and lowering glucagon, which helps keep your blood sugar steady. So some folks even ask for it specifically to lose weight since studies link Ozempic to notable weight drops.
Here’s the thing: beyond your blood sugar, Ozempic also helps protect your heart. Research has found that those on it face lower risks of serious cardiovascular problems. That’s why it’s considered a versatile option for managing diabetes.

Understand the Risks and Side Effects
Ozempic’s benefits are great, but you should know about some risks. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and tummy troubles. Usually, these ease up over time. Still, they can be tough depending on how well you handle them.
More serious, though rare, there’s a slight risk of thyroid C-cell tumors seen in animals. Human effects aren’t clear yet, but doctors advise caution, especially if thyroid cancer runs in your family.
